Amazing job.

Amazing job.

Math has the harshest curve because it was one of the easiest.
W is moderate.
CR - harshest curve that probably none of the CCers expect.

when is usually the curve the easiest? I got a 670 on math…and I am in calc bc. does anyone have any suggestions for some courses I could take or books I could buy?

the curve is easiest if math is hard. Just because you’re in calc bc doesn’t mean you should get an 800. Math tests you on algebra, geometry, and logic, which is not reviewed in calc bc. Even for me, who has taken Calc AB exam and scored a 5 last year, I scored 660 math the first time and 680 on math level II.

Like what most people say on here, practice SAT math through the blue book.

Writing was a pain. It ruined my 2400 and I only got 1 wrong, getting a 760. Seems like there were a lot of 2360s on this board.

Perhaps. I can get, and would like, a 2400.

This is why I think AP is a load of crap. Students can get 5’s in Calc BC even if they don’t know the slightest thing about common arithmetic like ratios and word problems. In the end, these kids are learning about things they’ll never need to know in life while struggling with making buying decisions based on prices at the supermarket.

Calculus is far more useful than knowing how to add up prices at the supermarket. That’s trivial.

I won’t reveal my whole score (lol) but I will tell you my writing score because this test seems to have been really harsh

530 scaled
50/80 MC
9 essay

The writing curve was actually the most lenient out of the three.

Lol–I’m taking my March SAT, in a week

A lot of you are lamenting the harsh CR curve…but I doubt the curve itself was the main problem.

After I took the test, apparently I was missing 7 or 8, FOR SURE, according to the consolidated list we had made.

But I ended up with a 680, which I’m sure would constitute only about 5.

My guess is that some of the answers in the consolidated list were wrong. That’s all.

How is it possible that I got a 610 math?? In all the BB practice tests I’d get 1 or 2 wrong max…

^I think you choked under pressure. I did too.

I completely agree with you kamikaze. Some of the answers were definitely off, but in a positive way for me. I thought I got four wrong from the consolidated list, but turns out I only got 3 wrong. I think I know which question was wrong from the consolidated.

I got 3-4 wrong according to our consolidated list, but I got a 640.

****.

Which one was incorrect from the list?

Could you order the answers online?

According to the consolidated list, I got around 6-7 wrong, and I got a 710.

I don’t think any on the consolidated list were wrong.

I got 1 wrong on it and got an 800. All my other answers were the same as the consolidated CR/M.

According to the list, I got 3-4 wrong and got a 640.

Something went miserably wrong and I can’t quite put my finger on it.
