ugghh i'm homeschooled. mine didn't come today.

Mine came today, yay. They were much worse than I expected though, I thought I had done really well :(

Reading - 9 wrong, 0 omit - 65
Math - 0 wrong, 0 omit - 80
Writing - 4 wrong, 0 omit - 69
Total: 214

the curve for writing was the bad?

Reading - 9 wrong, 0 omit - 65

^ wow that's a nice curve to offset the harsh writing curve...i might have a chance for 70+ for verbal...then again i probably didnt break 70 for writing. There go my chances for semi, i was counting on like a 75 on writing but i doubt that'll happen now.

When you post scores, please say whether you took the Wednesday test or the Saturday test. Thanks!

krofh

did you take the saturday test?

uh-oh. i thought i did really well too.

CRAP, I hate myself... I just pulled out some research I did a few months ago; apparently, Arizona's cutoff last year was a 214 and has been going up a few points for each of the last few years. I also noticed I got a 212 two years ago, so I've hardly improved. This sucks, I was absolutely expecting National Merit.

-> note: took the Wednesday test

Oh okay, thanks a lot!

i'm not going to get my scores forever. my college councilor said that my high school usually takes a lot longer to get scores than most schools (probably since we live in the middle of no where in the mountains of new mexico) and then once they get the scores they'll mail them to us which will again take forever since they have to go all the way down to albuquerque to be sorted and then back up. i'm just really nervous and want to know how i did. we usually have at least 10 semifinalists in my school which is pretty good since i live in a town where everyone's parents are geniuses. you guys probably didn't really care about that, but oh well.

is the curve about the same for both wednesday and saturday tests, or could they be entirely different?

they were different last year, favoring the saturday test

has anyone gotten the sat psat back yet? im so nervous

i got mine back today for the saturday test.

10 wrong 2 omit on critical reading = 62
3 wrong 0 omit on math = 70
2 wrong 0 omit on writing = 74.

overall i got 206. i think i missed national merit by like 4 points here in michigan :(

thanks puppylover..that helps a lot
the curve was pretty lenient this year..i'm happy

"10 wrong 2 omit on critical reading = 62
3 wrong 0 omit on math = 70
2 wrong 0 omit on writing = 74."

seems like the saturday test's curve is about the same as the wednesday one....oh well...good for reading, bad for writing

thanks for sharing puppylover

thanks a lot puppylover

Curve was harsh for writing, not so much for reading:

CR: 4 wrong 1 omitted - 71
M: 0 wrong 0 omitted - 80
W: 3 wrong 0 omitted - 71
Total: 222

Good job to you other guys,
I hope this helps.

masta was that for sat. or wed.?

Wow that writing curve is ridiculous. I missed three... I'm so screwed.

Those scores were for Wednesday.
