Just to trick you…

Just divide that bridge length with St.Johns.

Answer: 4.5

okay good because the wording of that question was nonsense. it said “unfinished” so they could’ve been adding 1,000 more feet to it for all i know

what was the answer to question that was 4y>10
X>4y
And it asked for lowest possible value of x.
I think I put 11.

This question came up on this thread earlier, but it was disputed/. Anyone know the answer? xD

quick question:can you use law of sines on a nonright triangle?

@Greenroses yes 11 is correct

@justlovelife: yes, law of sines applies to all triangles.

@Greenroses: I put 8, but now I’m not too sure.

@Greenroses
I got 11 as well.

Messed up on the triangle question with the 4root3 and also the last free response question but pretty sure I got every other question right. Maybe one other stupid mistake. So two wrong and on omit. Anyone know what that would be about? Above 740?

Preeeeetty sure it was 11.

Do you remember the exact Q?
Wasn’t it something like 8y>20
2x>8y

Then you put everything together.

2x>8y>20

Then 11 would be the only option standing that would satisfy the expression?

did all of you have the questions
a)the triangle, find lenght of base to fit area 5 to 9 i think
b)the factors 6p
c)the 100 to 200 find two digit

did any one have a section where the last question was a semi circle with a quadrilateral in the middle and you had to find the shaded area?

Was the 4root3 triangle answer 6+2root3?

I did not see how to do the 4√3 triangle without using the law of cosines, but I didn’t have time to go back and actually work it out. I was able to eliminate one or two though so I guessed with 6√3.

Hi, I’ve been lurking on CC for a while, and this is the first time I’ve actually decided to post. I have a question…

I took the SAT in October 2011 and I got 780M/740W/580CR, and I decided to retake it today in order to improve my CR score. Unfortunately, I think I missed 3 in Math, and possibly ~3 in writing as well. (maybe a 9 essay)

Do you guys think I should cancel my scores? My goal this time was a 800M/750W/700CR and the only thing I actually might have gotten is the 700 in CR. What should I do?

For first digit 1: If last 2 digits the same, 10 choices. If last 2 digits not the same, one of them has to be a 1, the other not 1, so 9 choices, 2 positions = 18 choices. Total = 28.

Then add in 200, so 28 + 1 = 29.

This is what I did

4y>10
X>4y
It then follows that,
X>4y>10
Thus,
X>10

The only answer greater than 10 was 11. Which is what I put.

Which section was the experimental section (what was it about)?

The digits one was a fairly trivial question. There were questions earlier that were more difficult.

I definitely got 11 for the 4y problem

Those are fantastic writing and math scores that you got last time but most colleges will superscore your tests, taking the best that you did each time in each category. So if you feel that you got a 700 on cr, which was your goal, I would keep your scores. And if you only got 3 wrong on math that is still most likely above a 700. Wouldn’t worry if I were you.
