Before the scores come out, I have to ask: How do you guys think you did? Any final comments before the inevitable?

@Foolish I thought that this " it just makes one group of people look bad." meant something else.

I’m hoping for a 2300 superscore with 700/800/800

This is my first SAT so I’m just hoping for a good score. 2200+ hopefully.

@Hawkace I just meant that regardless of who was actually right, someone won’t be happy so may as well not even argue about it.

Second SAT, I thought I was a lot more prepared than for my first one in december. I really recommend that everyone takes it twice unless you get a 2350+ the first time, knowing the procedure and having one real experience under your belt really serves to calm you nerves for your second try.

Buy G.U.Y. on iTunes and watch: <a href=“Lady Gaga - G.U.Y. (An ARTPOP Film) - YouTube”>Lady Gaga - G.U.Y. (An ARTPOP Film) - YouTube;

In regards to the payphones question, I don’t think it would make anyone look bad. As evidenced by the unresolved debate over it, it was a tough question and could really go either way. If I got it wrong, I wouldn’t feel like a made a dumb mistake (unlike other questions).

And anyway, how would we know what the right answer is when scores come out? Does score choice come with all that info?

I know I missed 2 on reading and math and probably wrote an 8, so I’m hoping for 2340, which would give me 2390 superscore, assuming -2 math is 750.

Since no one objected to plausible theory, is that the correct answer?

@movingtotexas what did you put for the question about the purpose of the last paragraph if the bijah passage? Was it summarize or ongoing explanation or deepening mystery?
And also was one of the vocabulary questions about a writer attained or longer for?

Continue an explanation and longed for.

The last passage was a continuation of why it is possible that Abijah bought the land from Elijah. I remember it said that Bijah now spent half is time in guilford and half in Derfield, suggesting that he obtained the Guilford land. This last paragraph was further proof.

Longed for because she had public greatness but she still was missing critical recognition, so she longed for that.

@movingtotexas Oh darn it, missed both of them. I put attained and summarize but thanks for your reply! I really hope I get a 700 in cr this time, I am completely horrible at it. It’s the only thing keeping me from an 2400…

Praying for a 2300+! I’m going to be so depressed if I didn’t get it.

Why can’t the answer be piecemeal story? Isn’t the author putting all the pieces of research together to create a story of Bijah’s life or whatever.

@yankees7210 I think the answer was a theory or something. I don’t remember anymore.

Plausible theory. Im hoping im pleasantly surprised on thursday.

im 100 % sure it was piecemeal story…
anyway anyone want to predict for me?
math: -0
reading: -2 or -3
writing: -1 or -2(depending on the payphone question…) and 9 or 10 essay

the reason its piecemeal is because in the 1st sentence of last paragraph he says “from here we find many different solutions…” the investigative part he’s pretty sure of, but the rest is open in the air. thus its not a “plausible theory”

anyone think the math curve will allow for -1 to be an 800? I had the right answer for one of the questions and then stupidly changed it at the last second

PS - you people are all out of your minds

It could be piecemeal story, and I have no reason why it couldn’t, but plausible theory just made for sense to me, especially since the question asked for the author’s interpretation of his own guess.
