Either the curve is huge or this concordance table is super depressing

Does anyone know what time the SAT scores will be released?

@Elsaliz 5am eastern time usually, unless there is a delay.

And we all now college board. They always have some sort of delay.

According to the new concordance tables, what is necessary for a top 15 school?

@josh973s I would guess high 1400s and up

Should I check my scores before or after the ap exam?

after. focus on the ap exam as it is the most important thing right now. imo.

After more than 2 months we can FINALLY see our scores omg

Jesus these concordance tables are brutal

im gonna check it after school tomorrow so if its horrible i won’t be depressed at school :)) i applied for a internship and im supposed to be getting the decisions this week too so i’m really hoping i dont get double disappointment :^o

1510 PSAT, expectations high, took the test for NMF. Probably speaking for the class of 2017 when I say that I REALLY hope I did well on this test. I really don’t want to have to worry about taking it again in fall of our senior year. It’s unbelievable how April ACT test takers got their score back in less than two weeks, and ours took over two months, cutting us off from the insight we would have needed to decide if we wanted to take the May or even June SAT.

If the college board is delayed tomorrow and scores aren’t out at by at least 6am, I will be pissed. They’ve had over 2 freaking months to score this. They better be there by 6am.

Guys if anyone sees their score early tomorrow post that you got it ASAP

Since they say a 1400 is equal to a 1990, does that mean that a 1400 is the same percentile on the new SAT as a 1990 was on the old SAT? If so, then I don’t think its any easier or harder. It just means the average SAT is going up but it will be counteracted when you see the percentile. I think looking at percentiles will be better than the actual score at the beginning until we get better at converting scores.

Can someone explain the concordance tables to me and what they possibly could mean for the test scores? Any clarification would be appreciated :blush:

@Elsaliz Basically, the score out of 1600 is the new score and the score on right (old SAT score) is what you wouldve got on the old SAT with ur new score. If ur trying to get into a selective college u need to get at least 1500

@Class0f2O17 I think a 1400 is equivalent to a 2000http://magoosh.com/hs/act/act-scores/2016/act-to-new-sat-to-old-sat-score-conversion-chart/

@itshalimathenerd that’s not the official table though
