March 30th

So what are you all planning to do to pass the time on March 30th? I get home at about 2:30, and I can't come up with anything . . . I'll probably be staring at the computer screen for 2 and a half hours.

Let's hear some ideas!

Go out for Chinese before I officially boycott Cornell for accepting ONLY Chinese kids at my school.

ill probaly go for a run, work out and stuff

i got a likely, so im pretty relaxed lol

I think that I'll actually be working on my school newspaper until about 4:30-5:00, which will be great to keep my mind off things. If I end up not having to do that, then I'll just try to take a nap. Or maybe I'll watch my "West Side Story" DVD so that the tears will already be falling by the time I get around to look at my decision.

heeeey.... i'm chinese... either way, i'll find something to do - whether it just be driving around, eating chocolate, play some comp games, staring at a countdown... (get a rejection)... wait an hr... repeat (for duke)

Oh, sorry. Nothing against Chinese people. But with my school, Ivy Leagues have a history of accepting ONLY Chinese kids.

DUKEEEE!!!!!

cant wait

Well, i'm gonna be in school. Decisions will come out 6th period for me.

I plan on crying myself to sleep every night until the 30th. Until now those have been tears of anxiety. Starting the 30th, those tears will either be of joy or of sorrow. I guess we won't know which until then!

i will be at tennis practice watching the clock and as it turns to 5oclock i will start freaking out and not be able to concentrate bc i will know that my decision is waiting on the computer.

I will be writing a love letter to canadaeh while anticipating my letter of rejection.

You mean you still haven't finished it yet?

shizz, then if you get in you can start the waterworks again in july and august when you realize you're leaving home to compete academically with some of the best students in america.

sorry, i just felt an urge.

I'll be sleeping. I take these "after-school naps," after which I dont feel like sleeping at night. Well I have set my phone's alarm to wake me up to check. I cant bear the wait any longer, I want to scream. Good luck fellow applicants.

canadaeh...I've actually finished several. I keep writing these but I don't have the courage to send them.

lol I agree w/ Afrikaan (r u south African btw?) ... just for march 30 i plan to eat at 3 central sleep till 5 central... i don't want to check at 4 central cause it'll be jam anyway...

i have a free period in school when decisions come out. I'll be checking Harvard, Yale, Cornell, Duke, and Penn at the same time. Eeeesh. I hope it's good news.

Ordinarily I'll be sleeping at that hour (GMT+7, or EST+12 here) but I'm planning to pull an all-nighter with the CC community. I just can't imagine how frantic the board will be at 4:30 PM;)

Thank God for rolling admissions......Good Luck to the rest of you.
