March Madness Bracketology

So Washington totally just killed Pacific 79-97:):):):):) I think Washington's definitley proved some people wrong!!!

I'm predicting Washington over Georgia Tech next week!

Washington proves people wrong by beating a 9 seed?

I have GTech over Washington... of course now Louisville will probably beat Tech. Meh.

I've only got 5 elite 8 teams left.
Lost:
Oklahoma, Kansas, and Wake

... bad year for #3 seeds.
Gonzaga, Kansas, and Oklahoma.
Only 1 #3 seed made the sweet 16

OMG how awesome was that WV/Wake game!!! That was AMAZING!!! Too bad I had Wake in the Finals though... hahaha

dude, i was watchin that at night past 11 at night (ET). the two overtimes, wow. it had me watching the game instead of MAD tv (which is my favorite show ever). they seriously had everyone foul out. haha

Well the dream has ended for my Catamounts, but it was a great run and awesome watching the team play this season. MSU just overpowered them in the end.

The past 2 days have been amazing for hoops. West Virginia knocking off Wake was awesome, what an exciting game! Even though I ad Wake in the Elite 8, I ended up rooting for WVU. And UConn going down was very surprising as well.

I'm not watching bball anymore. My bracket is so messed up that recovery is impossible. I had Ga Tech and KAnsas in finals. (special upsets you know) I'm ranked #25 on the Yahoo board. It's disgusting.

In light of some recent events (namely Wake and UConn losses), I'm changing my Final Four prediction: UNC, Duke, Illinois, OSU. In that case, I'm rooting for OSU.

I think next year might be Kansas's year. They won in 1988, the year I was born. So maybe my 18th year is their recurrance year. Or maybe 20. Or 21.

If UCONN doesnt lose players most are projecting they will be number one in preseason polls. They will be extremely strong next year either way. They are gonna have 7'1" freshman, plus all of the talents they have now. This of course all asssume Villenueve does't leave, and Gay doesn't leave. But I don't think they will.

OSU will meet Illinois in the elite 8. They can't both be in the final 4.

about the only thing I'm proud of in my bracket this year is that I had NC State in the Sweet 16.

My predicted elite 8 has already lost: Georgia Tech, Wake, Kansas, and Oklahoma. Greeeaaaat.

UNC is bringing like their whole team back... the latest word from the juniors (namely Felton, and May) is that they're staying.

Maryland returns the full squad as well. If they can consistantly play at the level next year that they showed they could play at this year, they will be a force in late March.
