<p>I am picking UNC to win it all (who isn't), but the best line I've heard so far is that the best reason for picking Duke is that Maryland isn't in the tourney.</p>
<p>Currently, I'm really ****ed about how my favorite team (GW), got screwed into a bad seed and a bad matchup against Georgia Tech. I'm stll picking GW though.</p>
<p>The only way a 16 seed will ever win is if they give it to a team like this years UMD. Giving it to these nobodies is just blowout city.</p>
<p>They always give seeds 12-13 through 16 to winners of crap conferences. Always.</p>
<p>Washington is the weakest 1 seed I've seen in a long time. If it's going to happen soon, I'd bet it would happen to them.</p>
<p>Some random NCAA thoughts (I'm obsessed):</p>
<p>-Final 4: UNC, Illinois, Louisville, Syracuse</p>
<p>-I like UNC to win it all. And if they survive the Syracuse regional they should be golden. I pick them to beat Illinois in the final only because the Illini have such an easy road to the championship.</p>
<p>-Sleeper picks: I like Pacific and Utah. Neer count out the mid-major teams they can be dangerous. And Utah has Andrew Bogut, one of the best all-around players in the country.</p>
<p>-My token 5-12 upset will be WI-Milwaukee over Alabama. Not feeling the Tide this year even though they got to the Elite 8 last year.</p>
<p>-As much as I love my home state team, Vermont, I just can't pick them to win over Syracuse. I can't believe the selection committee shafted them like that, both teams deserved better seeds.</p>
<p>-Next two days are gonna be so exciting; can't wait!</p>
<p>college_hopeful, I actually amended my bracket last night and it looks like our final four will be the same (although I'm still coming to terms with Louisville over Wake). However, I have Illinois for the title. I think Oklahoma state and Louisville/Wake will adequately prepare them for their date with UNC in StL. I'm still trying to think if I want a 12-5. If I do, it will probably be New Mexico over Villanova.</p>

<p>Woot just watched Vermont beat Syracuse. Really good game (plus I had them winning first round in my bracket and it screwed over 2/3 of the people in my pool who had syracuse winning 1 or 2 more after).</p>
<p>I joined too late to get into the CC brackets but I'm in my own with other people.</p>
<p>I know this is a long shot, but I have Wake Forest over Illinois and Kentucky over Connecticut in the final 4 with Kentucky winning it all.</p>

<p>So Kansas broke my heart last night. Awesome how Simien plays with the flu and does better than the rest of the fools on that team. What a train wreck. Sidenote: I've never actually met anyone who didn't like Kansas specifically. Weird.</p>
<p>I'm pretty sure Bucknell won't beat Wisconsin, so that would put Wisconsin in the Elite 8. Not what I expected.</p>
<p>Definitely predicted Vermont over Syracuse and Tech over Gonzaga, but it's no consolation.</p>
