March SAT Math Thread

1520 was correct
II only was correct for Tanya
Big square was 800

2n was divisible by 4 and 2, not 8 (answer is II and III only i think)

median was 88. the values would cancel eachother so the number put in between 85 and 90 would be median.

Stef1a, I know which one you are talking about but I’m afraid I forgot what the answer was. I think I might have gotten 2 or .5 or something along those lines…it was a smaller number, I remember that.

^^@randomhispanic - It was like 80, 83, 85, 90, 93, 95. The median = 88, what was the 7th day? And the 7th day was 88 :D

ok i remember it now yes 1520

was tanya the one where the answer was the choice which had the number that repeated the letter A twice?

the tanya was only one of the choices: the n has to be 12 or 13 because each number is unique for letters.

@randomhispanic: I got 93 as well, I think.

***? Day 7 was seriously 93?

anyone know what the answer to that the line M, P one? they want you to find the coordinate for for point P? this was grid in i believe

Day 7 was not 93. It was 88.

P was 10.6 (the one with the 6/5 slope?)

someone explain big square and propability please

The temperature of 88 was the only temperature not included in the original list of the first six temperatures. 88 was also the median, meaning that it had to have been the 7th day’s temperature.

I think the TANYA question was I only.

i thought that only I was correct for tanya because the first was:
4 7 12 2 7
T A N Y A
second was
4 7 12 2 11
T A N Y ?

II was wrong because the second and last number had to match- II is suggesting that #11 and #7 both represent A

i think i picked 1 , i remember that the choice i picked had the number 7 twice because it needed to repeat the letter A twice since there are two A’s in Tanya

Removed code unless it’s proven that it isn’t experimental. Median temperature is confirmed to be 88, 93 would be the answer if it asked for AVERAGE.

Consolidated list - NO EXPERIMENTAL ANSWERS

II is only way TANYA can be spelled

Damnit Tanya, you are screwing us all over. Who realistically writes in code numbers?

I am 100% positive that Tanya was II only.

I agree with II only for Tanya, which was quite possibly the dumbest question ever. That’s not even math.

I also agree with 1520, 88, and n only being divisible by 2 & 4.

actually tanya was I only o-o because II had umm this number which was on teh list that was given but it wasnt N…

i dun remember da specifics but I think i put I only for Tanya as well…?

I think that is right. I only for Tanya. I know only one of them worked but I can’t remember which one.

0.4 was right.
88 is right - it is NOT 93
the MP and NP were equal
