Marine biology vs marine science vs zoology vs wildlife biology vs vet

So what are your thoughts on each of these majors? I want to work with animals, rescue them and travel. However I'm not that good at math, which one of these would be less "mathy"? And which one has the best job opportunities?
Thanks in advance!!

Oh forgot to include animal science!

Vet. You will actually have job security. There are NO jobs for everything else you mentioned. American culture highly revolves on pets and spending money on their trivial health problems, so there is always a demand for animal healthcare.

You could always major in the other subjects you mentioned if you are interested in pursuing them as your hobbies and then apply to medical school. Just remember though, they are nothing more than hobbies. Your chances of finding a job as a marine biologist is as good as your chance at becoming a famous actor or musician.

The jobs are very scarce and marine biology research isn’t necessarily in demand.

Thanks for the input! Any other thoughts??

Bumpppppppppp

Gaby, Biology is going to require math. Perhaps not to the extent that other science majors or economics and finance majors go through, but at least Calculus 1. At my school, the biology major requires up to Multivariable calculus(Calculus 3). But whatever you choose, do not get intimidated by Mathematics. It is an integral and essential concept especially in science. But I do second the motion for going to a vet. Program out of all of those. The traveling part is extremely rare, but even if it isn’t, it’s usually in remote locations that you don’t even want to be in.

Yeah your right,^ I’m not terrible it’s just not my best subject. however any other input?

Bump bump bump bump bump
