Hello All. I have a question about the martime academies. If someone is not accepted to United States Merchant Marine Academy, which is the next best academy, Suny Maritime, Massachusetts Maritime academy or Texas A&M academy ?
I know nothing about the others, but a number of kids I’ve taught are at or have attended SUNY Maritime. Several from last year are there now. A friend’s daughter graduated years ago and has had no trouble finding jobs in the industry; she’s traveled the world.
