Marked Math classes under wrong grade; Help!

I think I messed up my application for CSUs. When it asked about classes I took in middle school(I took Algebra 1 in 7th and Geometry in 8th), I followed some old instructions for CSU applicants in 2017, which said to place your middle school classes under your 9th grade.

What I should’ve done instead was mark them under 7th and 8th grade(they now have options for those two grades), but I ended up marking it under 9th.

I know that it wouldn’t matter towards my overall GPA as CSUs only look at 10th and 11th grade, but it’s still a mess-up nonetheless. Will CSUs care, and is there a way I can fix this(there are two days until applications are due)?

If you already submitted the application, you should get instructions to create an applicant portal for each campus. Once you do so, look in each one to see how to communicate corrections to each campus.

If you have not submitted the application, try correcting it before submitting it.

Are these the instructions you followed to enter in the Middle school grades?

Begin with selecting the earliest grade level that you completed courses to fulfill an A-G subject.
A. If you completed courses in 7th or 8th grade to fulfill A-G subject requirements, please select the
appropriate grade level, along with your first high school attended in 9th grade and your 9th grade academic year.

This was the instruction I was supposed to follow. I ended up searching for advice on a College Confidential forum thread dated back in 2017, and it gave me old advice saying to mark it under 9th grade. I didn’t mark it under the “appropriate grade level,” and instead just put it directly under 9th(vs. under 7th and 8th grade).

Just send an email to each CSU campus stating the mistake or as stated in post #1, wait until you set up your CSU portals and communicate through that avenue. Make sure you keep an documentation and acknowledgement that the campuses are aware of the error.
