So who is currently trading?

I trade Forex fairly actively

I'm seriously thinking of getting into it, but I haven't done enough research to start making moves with a lot money.

Don't need to use a lot of money, some brokers allow you to trade as little as (1 USD) equivalent. And since they generally charge spreads and not commission, you don't get screwed by trading small lots. Reply or PM if you have any questions

Alright, Pm'ed you.

I'm playing around, put $5500 in the market a few months ago and is currently at around $6500 because Apple owns?

if you timed it right, you could be looking at 9-10k right now. :)

I use TD Ameritrade. I started with my own account around a month ago with 2500, now up to 2680. Trading ag, tech, oil, real estate.

Buy Suburban Propane and hold for a year.

are you happy with td ameiritrade? Im currently using fidelity and it has thus far screwed me two times when i was trying to sell to close my lehman puts last week. It refused to see the open positions in my account. Im looking for another broker. My trading strategy has been screwed in the last month. I hold drybulk shippers, ag etf, coal etf, peabody, nucor, an oil driller and one nat gas co. I have been trading lehman since the rumor broke about lehman "needing" 4 billion in capital to increase their liquidity. I currently trade 25k in a roth and i have been anywhere between up 2k, down 2k and all in between. Its a tough market to trade.
