<p>I'm still doing my undergrad right now, but I've always wanted to do something related to the arts, music or fashion in relation to business (marketing).</p>
<p>Right now I'm majoring in information studies with a focus on social media. I figure this could apply very well with marketing and esp. eMarketing, with the emphasis on social sites and information analysis and all.</p>
<p>Does anyone else think this is "okay" in terms of preparation? And do I even have to get my MBA in order to even qualify for marketing for any of said areas? I'm not sure how "strict" music organizations or fashion companies (like Hermes, Marc Jacobs, Calvin Klein, the like) would be in terms of hiring....</p>
