I took the SAT on the 23rd, and at the end, while checking my answer sheet, I noticed that some of the marks on my answer sheet had faintly copied over to the next/previous page. I asked the proctor if this was OK, and she confirmed, however, I’m still worried about my answer sheet being misread. Should I contact College Board? Does anyone else have similar experiences? I used #2 pencils, so I don’t know why such a thing would occur.
It has happened both times I have taken the SAT as well. Don’t worry about it buddy. The grader machines can tell if the led is on the first page or on the back.
For future reference, I wouldn’t recommend anyone going back to erase or lighten any marks even if you were worried, or you may risk having the proctor mark you down as cheating.
Worst case, you ask for a rescore later
