Marquette Class of 2020 Admissions Thread

Assuming a denial for D16 for one of the 60 or so spot of 1600 apps for the BS/DPT program haven’t heard anything, A classmate heard about her acceptance to Business School. Darn.

Has any ones application status portal changed?

@labegg My status portal hasn’t changed.

D16 received an email today that said Congratulations on your admittance to Marquette University. We will start the second step and review your application for admittance to the BS/DPT program. No letter in the regular mail yet, Assuming she was accepted for BS in Clinical Laboratory Science. Hoping she makes the cut for the second round BS/DPT program.

For future applicants (or parents) who may be anxious about the admission decisions - Admissions decision was date stamped from Marquette on January 7. January 14 received and email that read Congratulations. “again” on your acceptance. January 15 physical letter arrived USPS and late in the day January 15 application portal showed a status update with a link to a copy of the admissions letter. Hope that helps anyone who might be anxious about admission in the future.

I suspect that Marquette meant for the admission letter to arrive first to be followed a day or two later with the portal change and/or the email. There was about a 5 day delay between the first reported acceptance here on CC and our receipt. Despite being post marked on the same date one of D16’s classmates received her acceptance a full 4 days before D16.
