Marquette Class of 2020 Admissions Thread

Thread for Marquette 2020 applicants

Does anyone know when we will find out decisions?

According to the Marquette website, admission decisions will come between January to early April (Martin Luther King, Jr. Day – April Fool’s Day).

Within that window, I think those who applied earlier will hear sooner, and those who applied closer to the deadline will hear closer to April (depending on how many applicants there were for EA)

In previous years, I know of people that have found out as early as Jan 6 and as late as Jan 16

@ ThatOneEngineer I spoke with an admissions counselor today and they said the admission decisions are mailed out at the same time unless you applied past the December 1st deadline.

Did anyone else here apply for their business school?

@Conrivco I applied to the business school

Hello friends, Marquette started sending out admissions decisions. I received my acceptance today in the mail (I live about 20 minutes outside of Milwaukee). Good luck all!

Congrats, GoPack87!

@GoPack87 Congrats man! I also got into their business school  I live about 30 mins west of Chicago, so hopefully there will be many more people who post on this thread.

My son received his acceptance packet today (engineering). We live about an hour from campus. For anyone wondering, one of the flyers in the packet states that Pere Marquette award notifications will be sent in about two weeks.

I got in as well, and I live in the Madison area.

Does anyone have their checkmarq unsername and password? I cannot seem to find mine.

Forgive me if this has been covered before, but does Marquette make acceptances available online or do they alert applicants by mail only? Thanks.

@BillPilgrim I believe it is only by mail.

Accepted into the college of health sciences

Accepted into College of Com today… website says checkmarq info will be emailed 3-7 days after acceptance. I live in WI 2 hours away

DS also received acceptance. Marquette is 7-8 hours away depending upon Chicago traffic so he will likely fly except for move in and move out each year.

Accepted to College of Arts & Sciences as English/Spanish double major on pre-law track. I live about 45 minutes out of Boston, MA. Shocked that I got accepted considering I applied about 8-10 days after the deadline, but very happy

I started a new thread for accepted students - my son found out today. We live on the East Coast so letters/packages are in the mail. Congratulations to all! He was accepted to the Business School

I just get accepted today into engineering school!

Accepted into Engineering…so excited to go to MU. I live in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago.
