Is the Marshall grading curve really that sucky? Will it hurt if I wanna apply to grad school in the future?

They recently raised it from 2.85 to a 3.0, if that means anything.

3.3 for upper level classes. I never found it hard to stay ahead of the curve because there are so many people in Marshall, but then again I only had to take core business classes.

I'm sorry; even though I'm a high school senior, I really don't know how these curves work. What is the significance of raising the curve from 2.85 to 3.0 (3.3 for upper levels)? Easier? Harder?

Thank you!

easier. those numbers are where the peak of the bell curve is. higher peak, greater proportion of higher grades.

The old curve included 0's for people who dropped, the new curve doesn't so essentially grades are the same.

they should do a study to see which curve helps out more.

i want grade inflation!
