<p>Does the Marshall School of Biz give any merit scholarships for biz majors? Or do USC freshmen all compete for the same merit pool?</p>

<pre><code>Marshall does give out some merit scholarships for business/accounting students only. There are donors to Marshall who give to the school. Many are alumni.
These students have not yet been notified. Notifications should go out about the time financial aid packages are sent. A major one will be awarded this year for the first time. It will be the Dean Ellis Scholarship.

<p>D just notified of small merit schol from Marshall School. Not accounting. We called last week to say we were considering other colleges because of their merit schols, but that D had USC as #1, and was anything possible? They looked into it…this week, success! D will now commit to USC Marshall. We are all thrilled!</p>

Same thing with us several years ago, Mitch. 5K annually, automatically renewed with minimum 3.0 GPA. Didn’t hurt to ask, eh? BTW, more than half way through, Marshall’s exceeded expectations.</p>
