i dont really know what i wanna do with my life, and i dont really wanna go to college honestly. but i was giving my friend a massage today and she said i should go into that kinda career. I thought about it before, and i kinda like the idea of it. a local community college here offers a 2 year certificate program and i looked up some jobs you can get and it looks kind of cool, im a people person, so thatd be fun, and the money seems to be pretty good once getting a job. I dont know, is this a bad a idea or could this be a good way to go if i like it?

massages and spas are huge cash cows.

Hi...I saw your message and will give you me thoughts.

I am a massage therapist on a part-time basis (I am a full-time HS teacher). I have a college-degree and a few masters. But igonore that.

Massage therapy is an excellent career for part-time income...Approx. $12K to
$18K a year for about 15 hours of work a week.

I do not think it is a good career to make a viable living...You will need to do something full-time and possibly massage part-time. When you see a spa charging $110 per massage, you will get only approx $35.00 plus a tip of about $10 to $15.

Frankly, I would advise getting a college degree in a related field..nutrition...physical therapy...and then study for massage
