Massive Dilemna in deciding schools

<p>Today, I just received an acceptance email from a college I applied to for the Spring semester. I thought this was unusually early. The deadline to pay the deposit is December 15. However, for the other schools I applied to, I still haven't received their admission letters. And I want to be in a position where I have all the admission decisions, then I make my decision. The question is how will I know when these other decisions will come out. There is no information about this on their website. It does show, however, that the decisions from Early Decision applications are sent by Dec 15. Does this mean I might have to wait all the way till December 15 to see the admission decisions. This might not be a good idea because the deadline to pay the fee for the 1st school is on Dec 15. What do I do? Or is it possible that the other schools will tell me their decisions before December 15? </p>

<p>My current strategy is to wait till Dec 15 and when I see the decisions, I'll then make a decision. The deadline is Dec 15 and I'm guessing that means till the full dau of December 15 is over, you can still send in the deposit</p>

<p>If the other schools you are considering have a 12/15 decision date, then you should be OK. You can contact the school that accepted you today and explain that you need an extra day to make a decision if that will be necessary and get them to acknowledge that in writing. If you are not going to hear until later in the month, then you will have to send a deposit and risk losing it if you choose to attend elsewhere.</p>
