<p>Also in PA with direct entry BSN programs: Cedar Crest (women), Lincoln (new program), Marywood (recently re-accredited), Saint Francis.</p>
<p>I would be very careful with Marywood. They were on probation, lost their accreditation in 2013, and then were given back their accreditation for 12 months. In the meantime, some students left, and some students sued the University. </p>
<p>I just did a quick web-search and it was hard to find info on Lincoln U.'s program on their own website. It is a historically African-American public university west of Phila.</p>

near Boston considered Direct Entry? It is not on the list, but they do let some in Direct Entry. Does anyone have any thoughts on Regis?</p>

<p>Florida State has changed to a 2+2 program starting fall 2015. This should be removed from the list.</p>
<p>Colleges change their policy all the time so it is best to check with the nursing school. If someone like to update the list that would be great.
Some changes from 2+2 ( pre-nursing ) to direct admit,
some colleges have brand new Nursing programs,
some have ended their āAccelerated / 2nd BSN degreeā & replace it with MS entry program for students with a non-nursing BA/BS,
some have added in Gauranteed Admission for high school applying to the 4yr BSN program.</p>
<p>Does anyone know if the University of Washington in Seattle is planning to switch to a direct entry program anytime soon? Iām currently a high school junior and only looking in to applying to direct entry schools to make my life easier but if UW was changed to direct entry school, it would definitely be my first choiceā¦If anyone has any information about this school in particular or would like to update the list in general, that would be great, thanks so much!:)</p>

My daughter did a wonderful summer pre- nursing program at Adelphi. They are just about to,open a brand new state of the art nursing building. Very nice faculty too.
In addition U of Iowa and Minnesota have guaranteed admission programs. So does Emory now.
I think Suny at Buffalo has a direct entry nursing program too.
U of Minnesota - Twin Cities does have a freshman guarantee program, but the next admission year (2016 HS grads) will have direct entry for the first time.
Ohio Northern University should be added to the list.

For those interested, SUNY Buffalo is a 2+2 program. Binghamton is direct admit, but the curriculum essentially functions as a 2+2.
