So if I am reading this correctly, Texas State will be holding auditions in NYC during the same weekend as NY Unifieds (but not AT Unifieds) and will be accepting walk-ins. Is that right? Where are they holding auditions?
@NeensMom for all of the schools that you’re interested walking in, check their website for audition information. Most of them list the specific location on their live audition page. Texas State will be at Chelsea Studios in NY.
@NeensMom there is no guarantee that because they had walk ins last year that they will have them again, but worth checking. Also my understanding from prior posts is those they liked from walk ins were asked to come to on campus auditions as well.
Separately, they are also part of the “Combines” which is a group audition about 6 schools are hosting the Friday before NY Unifieds, which are like an open call. You can search up more info on these boards, but you have to line up early to get a spot (people were turned away) and audition in one room for all the schools and if they like you, they will ask you back later in the weekend to audition for them separately. Wagner, Shenandoah, TXTech, TX State, Rider and AZ State are going last I heard.

@sagezinnia To my knowledge SUNY Purchase doesn’t have a MT offering (although they do have very good BFA acting, BFA dance and BA theatre performance programs there).

@jacobhendrickson my daughter just got an Otterbein walk-in. They take your headshot and resume and if they’re interested they call you. I overheard people talking about Point Park and Temple walk-ins. btw everyone… Montclair is NOT talking MT walk-ins and they’re full in Chicago too.
