<p>My D is starting her application process for her Master Degree. She loves classical and instrument of choice is Marimba. She already has a list to apply to but I am wondering about other suggestions. She is applying to NYU, Manhattan, U ofT, Eastman, McGill. Those are not in any special order just what dad remembered. Cost is a major factor as we are from Canada and scholarships etc in the States are very limited for internationals ( at least in under grad)</p>
<p>Hi Percussiondad. My son is actually in the process of applying for percussion as undergrad. I would definitely check out all of the usual “top” schools such as Indiana University, Juliard etc. Might be helpful to look at the top schools and see where those instructors got there Masters as a guide. I might steer clear of Northwestern as I know they don’t give much and cost an arm and a leg. Good luck and please update as I am sure I will be checking this out in a couple years.</p>
