Masters in Accounting: Rider U vs Seton Hall U?

I have a bachelors in hard science and I have not been able to find any meaningful employment, so I applied to and was accepted at these two schools for their masters in accounting program. I am wondering which school is better in terms of landing a public accounting job, preferably at the Big 4? Currently I am leaning toward Rider because they are offering me a small scholarship and because it is a bit closer to my family. Any input would be appreciated. Thank you.

Are you going to get a CPA? If you are, then the school shouldn’t matter. BTW, I’ve never heard of Rider U. Look at their career center and see if any firms you would like to work for recruit there.

Yes, my goal is to become CPA eligible and to sit for the CPA exam. All Big 4 and a number of national/regional firms recruit from both schools, I was just wondering if anyone had any input regarding the ease of landing a job, the quality of instruction, etc.

Many firms show up at schools’ career fairs as a courtesy with no intention of hiring anyone.
Ask the career centers at the school how many students were actually hired in the last 2 years. It makes a difference.
