Hi everyone, I am in the process of looking at grad school. I am a graduating senior studying International Relations at SUNY New Paltz. I want to use my BA in International Relations to do consulting, marketing, global communication, research or public policy type work. I’m not interested in doing diplomacy because of the volatile nature of government. I wanted to pursue opportunities in the state department but they have been gutting the department so much that the opportunities are so limited. Instead, I want to see how businesses and organizations adhere to conventions, rules, international agreements and regulations. I do not want to go law school, but I have found masters degree programs that are designed for non lawyers at Fordham University and Seton Hall University. I have limited work experience, which just entails two summers at GAP. I was just wondering if anyone here knows about any other options in compliance besides Fordham and Seton Hall?
