<p>In this case you must talk to someone who is already an Athletic Director. My assumption is that you should get the sports admin major. The masters of education in higher education administration seems off base. Depending on how far you want to go, save that for your Phd. Again, I have ZERO experience in this area and am making this advice based on gut feelings and common sense which is pretty meaningless these days. Talk to someone who is successful in the field you want and ask them the best way to get their job. Cold call them if you have to.</p>
