I am interested in pursuing a masters degree in linguistics. However, I recently graduated college with a Bachelors of Science in Math. Though I have not studied linguistics in the past, I have always been passionate about languages. I have previously studied Italian, Latin, and Spanish. I believe that my love of languages and my mathematical background would make me well-suited for a career in linguistics. I am worried, however, that my lack of coursework in linguistics will set me back. Does anyone have any advice on how to get a masters degree in linguistics without a bachelors in the same field? Furthermore, does anyone know of any programs that are open to accepting applicants from other fields? Thanks! Any information is appreciated.

some MA programs welcome students of any discipline as long as you have either a bachelor’s degree or a masters degree from another program.
