Master's of City and Regional Planning Chances Thread

I’m currently a Cal Poly SLO 4th year undergrad majoring in Political Science, American Politics concentration. I have some introductory experience in ArcGIS and AutoCAD, and I did an internship with the Bureau of Environmental Planning in my hometown this summer and loved it. I’ve also done some related class projects in undergrad dealing with city council, zoning issues, and homelessness. However, I don’t have any formal experience or coursework in planning. I really want to go to graduate school for a Master’s in City and Regional Planning, but I’m worried my lack of experience may hurt my chances. I’m graduating in June 2019 but I would really like to go directly to graduate school instead of working or interning somewhere for a year.

I’m currently thinking of applying to:
San Jose State
UC Irvine
Cal Poly SLO
Cal Poly Pomona
CSU Northridge
San Diego State

What are my chances of getting in for Fall 2019?

Sorry I’m not an urban planning undergrad or grad. However I talked to one (a PhD student) this past summer, and he said with urban planning graduate school, people come from all over; some from engineering, some from math, some from literature, etc. Political science is fine for this.
