Masters of Public Health, advice please

Hey everyone, I was wondering if I could get some help/advice with some things. I'm looking to get my MPH (masters of public health) and am trying to find programs that might fit me.

I am currently teaching english in Japan, and was wondering if anyone had knowledge or advice about online MPH programs. Which programs are good? I've wandered around the internet but haven't really seemed to find much information about how good/respected different online programs are. Will people respect a degree from an online MPH program as much as the traditional kind? Do you think I will be missing out on something by not enrolling in a traditional program?

Any advice, please?

Most MPH programs that are worthwhile usually require some work experience so if you lack any of it, now would probably be the time to start building your resume.
As far as online degrees go, I feel you would probably be best served by actually getting your masters in a taught masters at the institution per se.

I was wondering this about MBA programs too. What kind of work experience are top flight programs looking for?

Top flight MBAs are looking for several years (usually 5-7) of work experience where you were a proven leader and moved up to a management position of some sort. They want to see you having steadily taken on more responsibilities and moved up the ladder at whatever job it was you were doing before you applied for their MBA.
