I think you need to have diversified portfolio within top 100 not top 25.
Top schools for econ (e.g., Brown, Amherst) often do not offer a business major. Would you prefer this type of curriculum, or one with an available business major (e.g., Wharton, Robins)?
I meant business Or economics. For example business major at Ross and Economics at Carnegie Mellon.
These analyses may help you identify top programs for the study of economics:
You didn’t give desires. Size. City or not. Location, desired weather, social setting, etc. Top 25 is chasing a ranking, not a school that’s right for you.
What is your UW GPA based on. Most are on a 4 scale and UW is 4. U say 4.16. Is that weighted?
What are you looking for in a school outside of rank which isn’t something that should be a huge driver.
What is your monetary restrictions? You say none but are your parents ready to spend $320k? Have you talked to them about this ? What’s your end goal…work, grad school.
Forget the ‘rank’ and tell us what is the right type of place for you to spend day after day for the next four years of your life.
Agree that you need to refine your search parameters. Start by reviewing individual college & university majors in economics and/or business.
Consider Bucknell University & Colgate University (both are large LACs)
