I don’t know where this belongs but I took a College Course at Baruch College after my Junior Year. Will this help?

I will have a mediocre essay and a very good rec from my math team advisor. Is 1 rec enough?

Please tell me what you think about my acceptance to each of these colleges and suggest what I need to work on to make it a safety school for me:

Boston University (ED)

University of Maryland - College Park (RD)

SUNY - StonyBrook (RD)

Tufts University (RD)

George Washington University (ED)

And by the way, I plan to major in Mathematics/Statistics.

you know u cant do 2 ED's right?

Oh sorry that was a typo. I mean to say ED for Boston University and RD for GWU.

I really messed up Sophomore year especially in English. Almost everything dropped 10+ points. So what do you guys think about that list? I am still trying to look for 1-2 more colleges I can add.

BU - Match
UMD - Slight reach
SUNY SB - Safety
Tufts - Reach
GW - Match

i think UMD is a match

i dont mean to like discourage you but im just gonna say what i think of UMD

im kinda afraid to go there...i hear the crime is rediculously high on campus and in the surrounding area. Thats wut the Police site says anyway.

What does match mean? Is it slightly harder to get in than reach? And what can I improve on to make BU my safety?

Is it better for me to apply to BU ED or RD?
