Just write a good personal statement and I say you're in...Also you may have a good chance at other top universities.</p>

<p>The way the counselors and teachers made UCSD admissions sound like, it was almost as though a super reach for me. Then I found out about the 40% admissions rate >_>;;</p>

<p>thought admissions rate doesn't mean a whole lot, cause most of the people who apply are berkeley and la applicants. and i think ucsd was like in the 30's this year, which is only 30-40% higher acceptance rate than berk. (from 20's to 30's)</p>

<p>^^ and ^^^, I never said anything about 'SD sucking, there were just some things about it that didn't work well for me, like the fact that I can literally walk to the campus everyday, and that my parents work maybe 5 minutes away in Sorrento Valley.</p>
