Math 109

Hi, I was wondering if I could get some input on math 109. I'm was planning on taking 109 next quarter, but i was just wondering how difficult the course load was as this will be my first UD course. Also, has anyone taken a class with Neil Dillip Thapen as the professor? He isn't listed on ratemyprofessors so I was wondering if he's a good professor.

Thanks for any input.

109 isn’t that difficult if you enjoyed the proof-based nature of geometry back in middle/high school. The curriculum is highly dependent on your instructor (I had Knudsen, so we concentrated quite a bit on discrete geometry). Never heard of Thapen, so can’t comment on difficulty.

This is one of the make-or-break classes for the rest of your math major, so make sure you invest adequate time to this course.
