Should I take Math 111 or economics 150 first semester? Or should I take both? Thanks for any advice

Without knowing what school you’re going to, there’s no way to answer this. Try asking in your school’s forum.

I’m going to Wake Forest University.

It also depends on your previous math background and your intended or possible major(s).

Take math your first semester and do not stop until you fulfill the math requirements for your degree. The same thing goes for any class with pre-requisites really. I just looked it up. Math 111 is Calculus 1, and Economics 150 is an intro course to Economics. If it is your first semester then why not get that stuff out of the way, vs waiting and having to take upper level math courses and your major courses at the same time?

I will be majoring in Accounting. technically this will be my highest math that I have to take. I have decided to take Math 111 this semester
