Math 1B, HARD or WHAT

<p>I had Zworski for 53. He's a funny guy and a blast in lecture. I didn't like some questions on his tests though. In particular, he asked on the final (basically) "Prove Stokes's Theorem". He did warn us before hand he would ask for a proof of either Green's, Stokes's, Divergence, or some other theorem, but we didn't think he was nuts enough to put Stokes's theorem on there (by far the hardest to prove).</p>

<p>Anyway, those that memorized that proof did well. Those that didn't did not. I don't think a math test should rely on that. (Okay, I'll admit that some super math geniuses in there might have actually understood the theorem well enough to derive it having not memorized it, but not many.)</p>

<p>Hmmm, so how is his curve? From what I have read in this thread, the class is "hard" mainly because of the curve distribution, not entirely on the content or tests.</p>
