I am student at UCSD, but I need to take math class at UCB during summer.
Which math class should I take to cover Math 20D.
Where should I check it?

whichever class covers differential equations. if there’s more than one class offered, you should print the appropriate syllabi and send them to the UCSD math department for approval.

there’s no website that will directly answer your question. assist.org only covers community college equivalents.

also, you’re going to be doing extra work at cal (as compared to taking 20D at UCSD), since they’re on a semester system.

Actually, there is.
[Transfer Equivalencies](http://math.ucsd.edu/equivalencies/)
But it seems like UCB does not have an equivalent course of UCSD’s 20D.

Why dont you just take it at a CC instead? Its much cheaper and i believe most CCs offer 20D. I’m planning on taking 20D this summer as well.

I am good at math, so it will be easy A for me.
I could transfer A from UCB to UCSD, and keep my GPA.
When you take anything at CC you could get only credit but not grade.

^
i have a question about that.
so if i take a chem lab at a CC, it only counts toward completing the necessary course for my major, but doesnt factor into my gpa?
is that a bad thing?

I want to get one more easy A.
AP test and CC give you only credit.

chowsx - How did you find Chem lab at CC.
I could not find Chem 7L anywhere.
It is specific class for UCSD only.

[ASSIST Report: CHAFFEY 10-11 UCSD Articulation Agreement by Department](<a href=“Welcome to ASSIST”>Welcome to ASSIST)

doesnt it say there’s a transferable class?
idk that’s why im asking.
i was going to petition it/ask an advisor about it before i did anything though.

So in order to cover only Chem 7L you need take Chem 21 and 22 total 6 units
Good luck

CHEM 7L Introductory Inorganic (3) |CHEM 21 & General Chemistry (3)
Chemistry Laboratory |
|CHEM 22 General Chemistry (3)

well i also need to take chem6c which is covered by the CC’s chem22.
