Math 3B Professors

<p>Has anyone taken any of these professors and is willing to shed some light on them in terms of difficulty and who to avoid? I am especially interested in hearing what anyone has to say about Gilles since there are no reviews of him anywhere on Bruinwalk.</p>

<p>The math 3B professors for next quarter are:</p>

<p>Mark GREENE ---> taught upper division math
Martin SHORT ---> Taught upper division math
Jerome GILLES ---> ???</p>

<p>Please help me out to determine which professors to avoid or maybe if I shouldn't even take 3B this quarter! Thank you!</p>

<p>I worked in the same research program that Jerome was advising in (but he wasn’t my advisor) and he is a really nice guy. No idea on his teaching, but from everything I heard from his group members, he was really clear and easy to understand.</p>
