Math 53 and H54

<p>I'm taking both 53 and 54 (Honors) next semester. Needless to say, i'm really worried. Besides, I'm a math major, so i really need to understand the material - not just scrape an 'A' somehow. Any suggestions for me from current math majors or people who've taken the two courses before? Like how many hours should i dedicate everyday to 53 and 54? how much would i have to study? And in terms of difficulty - how hard are these two courses?</p>

<p>If you don’t understand the material, you’ll never get an A in any math classes ('cept 16A-16B). Do tons of problems and start practicing proofs right away.</p>
