<p>How good are the math and economics programs at Yale? Those are the two fields I'm most interested in.</p>
<p>Econ is amazing. It really prepares you for a career on Wall Street (I dont have exact stats, but Econ Yalies have a good presence in the financial world). Im personally really interested in the math and econ at Yale myself. I dont know precisely about math, but from the students I spoke to, its top notch as well.</p>
<p>The Econ program is one of the most popular at Yale, I’m pretty sure. I sat in on an Econ class during Bulldog Days and they had a guest speaker from Google! It was awesome 
As for math, I’m not exactly sure, but I think they have very strong programs there too. And definitely a LOT of diversification in what type of math classes/majors they offer (abstract, finance, stats, etc)</p>
