Math at Williams

Fun article about the excellent math program--

I've seen Colin Adams lecture to his classes. With chalk dust flying, he's physically involved -- which engages the students as well.

He's one of W's gems.

driver,
Two of the math teachers at my kids high school are Williams math grads. One is the chair of the department and is about 40 years old, I would say. The other is younger and perhaps a "disciple" of the department chair. They are both wonderful, well respected teachers and we are lucky to have them teaching on a high school level.

I've sat in on classes, too, with both teachers, and they really get the atmosphere charged up. They're both very funny, and one of them is actually an amateur comedian who regularly does standup in comedy clubs. Your school is lucky, mo3s--two of them!
