Math B Regents

damnit.... i got an 89 on spanish.

and im definitely not taking that over LOL

oh well. guess ill never get in anywhere (just kidding)

What did everyone think of Physics?

hard...a lot of questions were stupidly tricky...

i also had major issues because my reference table was different than the one I got in school (all the pages and tables were in different places!!!! so it took me forever to find stuff I would have taken 2 secs to find on my old table) & my proctor STUNK and would not give me any scrap paper or help me with a test issue.

hopefully I got a 90+...if I got a 90 on everything, I'd die happy :P

really? i thought the test was really easy. definitely got a 95+

same thing about the reference table lol. it took me like 2 minutes to find the energy diagram for mercury hahahahaha

Yeah, ditto stephennn.

Was the answer for the mercury question 9.62?

I thought physics was HARD, but then again, I've thought that all year...BUT, I got a 72 which I'm thankful for. I thought I might fail. (In case you're wondering, my teacher emailed me like a half hour ago telling me my score).

Oh, and on the US Regents, I got a 96.

i got 9.62 too...the proton/neutron was strong (checked) & paperclip was 1 gram, or 10-3 kg (checked)

Um, the question wasn't proton-neutron, it was proton-electron. I remember, because I was like, "HA, some poor loser is going to put strong force instead of electromagnetic. BUT IT'S NOT GOING TO BE ME."
Same thing for the "1 kg of the sun's mass" question. Har har.
A lot of those questions were stupidly tricky. I was aiming for 100 but I'm not sure if I got it. :/

yah 9.62

^---- agreed it was electromagnetic not strong force. it was talking about attraction between protons and electrons. not neutrons and protons.

CCers who think NYS regents are hard? Wow....

ah darn...oh well. what was the sun's mass one?

the skier was about Ff right? and using the table...? Also, did anyone get 50 for the first part b-2? and used w=fd= change in KE for the pole vaulter?

i just want to know how i did! i'm really aggravated about that proton/neutron thing. BLEH. i actually did think...hmm, electromagnetic, then decided not to change my answer

skier was Ff = uFn
i forget what the first part b2 question was?

first part b question i think was a graph of speed vs time...there was line from 0-2 straight incline to 5 m/s, then 2-6 seconds at 10 m/s...?

i dont remember at all..... thats sad haha

I got a 95 on Math B, so it was worse than I normally do, but by no means bad.

Does anybody know the answer to the question with the wave 180 degrees out of phase? Where were we supposed to mark the X?

Bump, does anybody know the answer to the above question? Thanks.

Hooray, 95.

I think the point that was 180 degrees out of phase should have been half a wavelength away from the original point.

Woot! I did well! Advanced Regents Diploma with Honors!

Math B-99! (only got the one with the dilation of center wrong)
USH-99
Latin-100
Physics-91 (darn my expectations..set up myself for a 90 or better, and i got just that: everything else I set myself up for a 100ish)

other Regents scores:
Chem-100
Math A-100
Global-99
Bio-96
English-90 (basically everyone in my classes got a 90, so I doubt they really graded mine)
