I’m a freshman and the math classes I am taking this year are honors algebra 2 and honors geometry. After experience with honors algebra 2 (I haven’t had geometry yet), I find that math honors are very difficult. Scheduling for next year is coming up, and I’m debating on what to take. I could take Honors Pre-Calculus/Trigonometry (it is precalc and trig in one semester), or I could regular pre-calculus and trigonometry. I hear the teacher doesn’t really teach for any of the classes (honors, as well as regular). I am wondering how colleges will look at this on my schedule off I just take the regular version. Either way I plan on taking AP Calculus junior year. Thanks.
