Math Competitions

Hi. I'm looking for some math competitions (both team and individual).

I know about AMC, Pomona-Wisconsin Math Talent Search, & Pepperdine so far. I live in S. CA. Anything in the LA/Long Beach area would be great.

Thanks!

Also, some science or engineering competitions would be great! I don't mean science fairs, but more Science Bowl-type of things.

There's Mu Alpha Theta. It's a math honor society that travels within a district and competes in individual and team rounds. Some rules vary between districts, but if you're a math person Mu Alpha Theta is great! It is a club though, so if want to do it in the summer or something, then disregard this post. :)

Our Mu Alpha Theta does nothing of that sort. Instead, our district has Mathletes.

AMC is generally the standard. Other prominent ones include Μαθ [as mentioned], ARML, and the AHSME.

South California?
