<p>Hi guys, I am accepted to UMICH and UNC, and waiting for decision from UVA.
I am wondering in terms of math&Econ, which school would be stronger?
P.S i am OOS for all 3. UNC is the cheapest, but I am not sure cuz UNC's name doesn't sound as big as UMICH and uva. i am worried that will affect my chances in the job market.</p>

<p>UNC is a perfectly respectable school overall and in math and economics.</p>
<p>Was Minnesota on your application list? It is well respected in math and economics, but also less expensive than other well known out of state public schools.</p>
<p>You can ask each school’s career center if it will tell you who comes recruiting math and economics majors there, and if it has survey results of recent graduates in math and economics.</p>
<p>Thanks for the reply. Minnesota is actually not on my list. Cuz UVA Umich and UNC are all more prestigious than Minnesota. So would you consider going to UNC or UVA or UMich if money is not an issue?</p>
