<p>Hi! I'm planning to major in something related to bio or chem. Which is more important for this major -Calc 3 or Pr. Linear Algebra? Or should I take multivariable and linear algebra? I heard the teacher for calc 3 isn't exactly that...good.</p>
<p>Neither of those math courses will be very helpful for a bio major (maybe linear algebra might help slightly… but not that much). For the chemistry major, both multivariable and linear algebra will be fairly useful, although multi might be slightly more useful. If you’re not sure yet, just pick whatever class you are more interested in.</p>
