Math for Freshmen?

<p>Hey, I have a question after reading the College of Letters and Science GE Requirements for freshmen (<a href="http://www.registrar.ucla.edu/GE/GE-LSFr05-06.pdf%5B/url%5D"&gt;http://www.registrar.ucla.edu/GE/GE-LSFr05-06.pdf&lt;/a&gt;)&lt;/p>

<p>I don't see any math courses (other than statistics) in any of the categories. Does that mean that in order to obtain the 48-unit requirement for freshmen, no math courses are required?</p>

<p>math is not a GE. math may or may not be required depending on your major.</p>
