Hi! In honors pre-calculus. (Junior.) My first marking period I had a 93, second was 85, but third was a 78. Fourth quarter I'm hoping to get back up.

My 10th grade classes I had an 88 overall (geometry) and 89 (honors algebra 2.)

I know schools are math crazy. How can I play it up, even if they're bad? Should I talk about them, ignore them?

Every other class I'm great in. My major isn't math at all, but advice is great.

Thanks!

How do you test in math? If you did well (above 70) on the Math part of the PSAT, I wouldn’t worry about your “bad” grades. I would consider having an honest talk with your math teacher about how you can improve your grade. Going to school early or staying late to work with the teacher might help.

It depends on what schools you are targeting though, and what major you are targeting. If you are getting B+s in honors classes, that’s not bad.

I got a 550 (my weak section, getting tutoring).

I’m doing slightly better now, just hoping my math grade of a C isn’t a blemish.

Yeah, maths important to colleges, but its not like its the only thing they look at. What kind of schools were you looking at?

I’m in love with USC. My other grades are all great (over 100 in most)
