Math I & II results today . . . now what

My testing center was super disorganized and I was given the level I test instead of the II that I paid for. When I finished the I and realized the error and stayed and took II. I later decided to pay the $16 for the level I score which came in today.

So here’s the deal. Which is one should I send or do I send both?

Level 1 760
Level II 770

Just send level 2.

Math I is really impressive too, you only missed 3. For Math II, you missed about 9. Colleges know what the curve is, and a 750+ for Math I is hard to come by. I’d send both. Actually, I am sending both, and I got 770 and 800 respectively for I and II, and you’re in about the same boat.

I took subject tests and I was able to choose any of the tests, even if I signed up for others. How did they make you take one?

Colleges that want two subject tests though won’t consider Math II and I as separate tests. They want scores from two DIFFERENT subjects. Math II is a more respected test; if you’ve taken precalc its expected you’d take that and not math I. The curve is more lenient on Math II because it is significantly more difficult.

Think of it like when you are getting college credit for APs. If you took Calc AB and Calc BC, you’ll just get the credit from the BC exam because it’s implied that you know Calc AB. You don’t get double credit because you also took AB, it doesn’t work that way.
