I am mainly using PR for Physics and Barron's for Math II.

I also have
McGraw Hill's for Math
PR for Math

McGraw Hill's for Physics
Barron's for Physics
SAT II Success Physics by Xtremepapers

Now, I have very less time at hand.

So, after I'm done with PR for Physics and Barron's for Math II, can you guys please rank the rest of the books that I have in order of accuracy of their tests, so I practice those first. And, if there is any extra material in the other books that I should look over?

Thanks! (:

Physics is best done from Barron’s. I can’t tell for others as i only used Barron’s.

I’m taking the tests this Saturday and after doing physics from pr and math from barrons, I’m going through the sparknotes. For physics, sparknotes wasn’t really that helpful because pr covered everything up pretty well. For barrons… Totally opposite! Sparknotes discuss things which are important and its really to-the-point. Like, there was a question on college board where we were supposed to know the interior angles of a polygon but I was blank then because I had only done barrons… But today I saw its discussed in sparknotes. I’m just hoping sparknotes discussed all these small points which are likely to cone in the test. And I highly doubt barrons does. Barrons just doesn’t make me feel safe. :

Ps, yep the reply got waaay too long.

I used Barron’s just for practice test, i didn’t study for physics. Practice tests were enough as i had already done 99% of the course in class 11th.

@fiza - thanks! I’ll check out sparknotes for math (: i’m so upset that their tests aren’t available right now when I need it :/

@shaurya - haha, lucky you. I didn’t study well in 11th and now I suffer :P

In Physics, most of what comes is theoretical. Calculations based question are very less and mostly come on Friction (Dynamic) and sliding on an inclined plane, Ray optics etc

If you do your theory well enough, there shouldn’t be any need for actually preparing from 2 different books. Rest assured, Theory questions are quite easy and if you have done your theory well enough, they won’t be a problem

PS - Curve is very Generous.

^ I agree. But, I already gave it in November and my score was 640 which is beyond terrible (given the generous curve). I believe I really struggled with time management and hence I reeeally need to practice. So, I wanted to practice those tests which are closest to the real thing (:
I’m basically using PR for learning, however it offers only 2 tests and I could definitely benefit from more tests.

Hello, can someone suggest me where to get the Sparknotes ?? Can we buy it online thru’ Amazon ? I hear Barrons for Math-2 and PR for Physics as good options. Do you also recommend Collegeboard Math practice tests? Please confirm.
Thank you !

Any feedback on McGraw Hill’s tests for both?

I did all 6 practice tests from Barron’s math 2 n got an average of 710 an did 2 barron n 1 PR tests for physics and scored around 720. I’m taking the test on saturday n my scores r really freakin me out. I want an 800. Any last tips to improve on my score pls?
